Language Arts - This week students will create a text set based on the themes or ideas in their book club book. This is the culminating assignment for our Social Issues Book Club Unit. We will not have conferences this week.
Social Studies - We will continue learning about the Cold War. Students will focus on the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War, and they will complete a One-Pager assessment (due by Tuesday, June 9).
Math - In math, students will continue to review how to set up and solve for a proportion on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday students will take the unit 7 assessment.
Science- In science, students will research a vertebrate or invertebrate of their choice. They will create a Flipgrid video to demonstrate their knowledge on what the animal's traits and adaptations are (due Thursday June 4th).

- Look for the app that says Schoology Conferences (white S)
- Click on courses
- Click on the specific course (might make you sign in twice: use your regular username and password)
- Left hand side of the screen near the bottom you will see a tab that says conferences-click on that
- Then select the time that's available to join the video conference
